Topic: "Planning for an Aging Population ‐ Your Clients, Your Parents, and Someday You!"

About the talk: The session will focus on the seismic changes impacting estate planning professionals and clients as a result of the aging of America and the enhanced federal and state estate tax exemptions. Obtaining and paying for long‐term care is now the primary concern of many clients, especially seniors and those with disabilities. The session will also address other issues that are of importance to clients such as the use of trusts for tax and non‐tax reasons, retirement and income tax planning, and how do deal with digital assets upon incapacity or death.
